Every polished carat of Lightbox lab-grown diamond takes an average of 350 kWh of energy to grow. We believe that every lab-grown diamond created consumes similar levels of energy to Lightbox -- or in some cases, much higher.
So what does 350 kWh equate to? Put simply, it’s about the same amount of energy required to manufacture three pairs of jeans. So while it’s not huge, it still needs to be less (though we do promise you’ll still be wearing your Lightbox pieces long after those jeans!).
